At Scriptorium Lab Services FZCO, we aim to deliver high-quality content and professional documentation services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refund requests are handled for services purchased through our website or through direct correspondence.

By placing an order or making a payment, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.

• Projects commence only after receipt of a 50% advance payment (unless a written agreement specifies otherwise).
• The advance payment confirms your acceptance of the scope of work, timeline, and deliverables.
• Once the project begins, our writers and editors are allocated and work begins immediately.

Before Work Begins:
If you cancel before project initiation:

• You are eligible for a 100% refund, minus payment gateway or transaction fees (if applicable).

After Work has Started (Before First Draft Delivery):

If work has started but you have not yet received the initial draft:

• A partial refund (up to 50%) may be granted.
• The refund amount depends on the percentage of work completed at the time of cancellation.

After the First Draft / Deliverable Has Been Provided:
Once the first draft, initial output, or deliverable has been shared:

• No refund will be issued.
• At this stage, the service is considered substantially rendered.

Cancellation by Scriptorium Lab Services FZCO 

We reserve the right to cancel a project due to:

• Non-cooperation or communication delay from the client
• Breach of terms or misuse 
• Unforeseen operational circumstances 

In such cases, refunds will be issued fairly based on the work completed.

• Refunds are considered only if they meet the conditions outlined in the Cancellation Policy. 
• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
• Payment gateway fees, international transfer fees, or currency conversion charges are non-refundable.
• Refunds are not applicable for services delivered as per the agreed scope and quality standards.

• Clients are entitled to one (1) round of minor revisions, requested within three (3) business days of delivery.
• Revision requests must remain within the originally agreed scope.
• Any major modifications, structural rewrites, or new content beyond original scope will be billed as a new service order.
• Failure to request revisions within the specified period will be considered acceptance of the delivered work.

The following services are non-refundable under all circumstances:

• Services already delivered or partially completed
• Customized or tailored writing, editing, or design projects
• Expedited / Priority service upgrade fees
• Completed consultation or strategic guidance sessions
   
• Retainer or subscription-based service packages.

We encourage resolving concerns amicably through direct communication.

If a disagreement remains unresolved:

• This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. 
• Any legal proceedings will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
